UPDATE: Cycling improvements at Maitland/417 Display boards are up

The city has now posted the display boards from the open house on cycling improvements on the Maitland/417 Bridge. They can be found here.

As you will see when you follow the link, online consultation on this project is now on and will last until March 15.

As part of the Queensway widening Maitland to the 416, the City and Province are looking at cycling improvements for the Maitland bridge, with the scope of the work including bridge widening for cycling facilities, modifications to the north and south ramp terminal intersections to accomodate new cycling facilites, and the transitions between the new cycling facilities and the existing roadway. The public open house was March 1, 6-8 pm at the J.A. Dulude Arena, 941 Clyde Avenue.
