Mailes Avenue Reconstruction Public Information Session May 16

Dear Resident,

The City of Ottawa would like to invite you to a Public Information Session to discuss a reconstruction project planned in your neighbourhood.

•         The underground infrastructure on Mailes Avenue is being replaced due to its age.

• Reconstruction of watermains, sewers, and roadway including new sidewalks.

When:       The design of the project is presently underway. Tendering of the construction contract is expected to take place in spring of 2019 and construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in early summer of 2019.

Where:      The work will take place on the following roads:

• Mailes Avenue between Patricia Avenue and Oakdale Avenue
• Island Park Drive between Richmond Road and Mailes Avenue
• Lane 81-V between Mailes Avenue and Rockhurst Road

At the Public Information Session you will be able to review the preliminary plans and related objectives and provide comments. Representatives from the City, the consulting team and the Ward Councillor will be available to discuss the project and answer your questions. Your input is an important part of the consultation process.
