LRT - Cleary to Woodroffe

Good morning. Recently, the notice below was sent to area community associations and groups. I'll see many of you there.

We would like to invite you to attend a public information session on the tunnel portion of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) line between Cleary Avenue and Woodroffe Avenue. We will be reviewing options for adjusting the current alignment under Richmond Road, including potential construction considerations on Byron Avenue and the Bryon Linear Park. Your feedback will be important in helping balance the importance we put on all three of these areas. The meeting is on September 14th, 2016, at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.  

The purpose of this information session is to engage and obtain input from property owners, businesses and residents affected by this potential change. Stakeholder feedback and information will then be included in a forthcoming report that will go to the City’s Finance and Economic Development Committee (FEDCO) and City Council for final approval.

Nous aimerions vous inviter à une séance d’information publique sur le tronçon en tunnel de la ligne de train léger sur rail (TLR) entre les avenues Cleary et Woodroffe. Nous examinerons les façons de rectifier le tracé actuel sous le chemin Richmond, y compris les détails d’aménagement possibles sur l’avenue Byron et le parc linéaire Byron. Vos commentaires contribueront grandement à équilibrer l’importance accordée à ces trois secteurs. La réunion aura lieu le 14 septembre 2016 à l’église orthodoxe ukrainienne.

Cette séance d’information vise à attirer l’attention des résidents, des entreprises et des propriétaires fonciers concernés par l’éventuelle modification du tracé et à obtenir leurs commentaires à cet égard. Les rétroactions et les observations des parties concernées seront ensuite consignées dans un prochain rapport qui sera présenté au Comité des finances et du développement économique de la Ville (CFDÉ), puis au Conseil municipal aux fins d’approbation finale.
