Laroche Park: Second Community Consultation for Park and Community Building Redevelopment

Last year, we consulted with Kitchissippi Ward on how to spend our Cash-in-Lieu funds. The top priority for the Ward is a new field house for Laroche Park. Over the past several months, we have been pressing staff to begin getting this project underway in earnest, as our CIL funds are building up. In addition to a new field house, there will also be the long-awaited Sens Rink.

We are now moving forward with the second Open House for both the field house component as well as the rest of the park, the first open house having happened in July. The second Open House is coming up on Thursday, October 25 from  6:30 to 8:30pm at the Innovation Centre, Bayview Yards (7 Bayview Road). The meeting will take place in meeting room L204 on the second floor. You are invited to attend and review the final concept plan for the field house and overall park design for Laroche Park and provide your feedback. There will be a presentation and a Q + A. We will post the concept plans online as well when we have the opportunity, and can take your feedback via e-mail if you are not able to attend on October 25.
